Aggie Ring Day is one of the most time-honored traditions at Texas A&M University. The gold Aggie Ring is a celebration of achievement and is recognized worldwide, connecting and uniting Aggies in the Aggie Network. The ring is ordered only when a student completes specific academic requirements. These requirements were established by the Official Senior Ring Committee of 1933. Upon ordering and wearing this time-honored tradition, the student will wear the ring with the class ring facing them, symbolizing that their time at TAMU is not yet complete. During graduation commencement, the Association of Former Students leads a ceremony where students turn their rings around to face the world, symbolizing that the Aggie is now ready to face it.
The Aggie Ring is unique in that all rings bear identical symbols. The symbols unite Aggies in the values they represent and uphold; Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Loyalty, Respect, and Selfless Service.
Congratulations and Gig 'Em!
